Day-by-Day Itinerary

Head north along the coast through Mombasa's iconic landmarks and the stunning Kilifi Creek.

Key Stops

  • 07:00 — Depart Diani Beach heading north on the coastal highway.
  • 08:30 — Mombasa: The Tusks (Elephant Tusks). Iconic aluminum arches on Moi Avenue, Mombasa's symbol since 1952. Group photo with bikes.
  • 09:30 — Likoni Ferry to Mombasa Old Town. Cross by ferry (a unique experience with motorcycles). Explore Swahili alleys, carved doors, and the spice market (cinnamon, cardamom, curry, clove).
  • 11:00 — Mombasa to Kilifi. Northern highway. Cross the spectacular Kilifi Creek Bridge with estuary views.
  • 12:30 — Lunch in Kilifi. Waterfront restaurant. Fresh seafood and tropical juice.
  • 14:00 — Kilifi to Watamu. Optional detour: pristine beaches, fishing village, sea turtles in season.
  • 16:00 — Arrive Malindi. Hotel check-in. Walk to the Vasco da Gama Pillar (1498).
